How It Works
Initial Video Visit
A comprehensive evaluation with Dr. Alkhaddo. We review your medical history, weight history, and labs, and build your personalized treatment plan.
*Your initial visit is billed to your insurance or available as cash pay. In many cases, no additional visits are needed — ongoing care can be managed through secure messaging, as long as it remains clinically appropriate. If a follow-up visit becomes necessary, it is billed the same way.
Prescription and prior authorization
If a GLP-1 medication is appropriate, Dr. Alkhaddo prescribes it and we submit the insurance prior authorization on your behalf — handling the paperwork that stops most patients.
If approved, you start
Your insurance covers the medication and you pay your copay. We guide you through starting therapy, injection technique, and what to expect.
If denied, we find your path
We discuss manufacturer cash programs like LillyDirect and NovoCare, savings cards, and appeals — so cost does not stop your care.
Ongoing management between visits
Most of your care happens through secure messaging — dose titration, side effect management, and progress tracking — without needing to schedule a visit. Additional video visits only when clinically needed.
