Welcome to the North County Endocrinology Virtual Clinic

Thank you for joining the North County Endocrinology Virtual Clinic. You've taken an important step, and from here forward we work on this together. This is your members-only starting point — everything you need to begin is on this page. My goal is simple: to help you reach your health goals with expert, evidence-based care and genuine support along the way. Let's get started.

— Dr. Jamil Alkhaddo, MD

Your first visit is a video appointment with Dr. Alkhaddo to review your history, discuss your goals, and create your personalized treatment plan. Use the calendar below to choose a time that works for you.

STEP 1 - Book an Appointment

STEP 2 - Tell us a little about yourself

Take a few minutes to answer some quick questions about your health and goals. This helps Dr. Alkhaddo understand your needs and make your first visit focused on you — not on paperwork.

STEP 3 - Download Spruce App for secure video and messages

We use Spruce, a secure and HIPAA-compliant messaging app, for all your ongoing care. Tap the link below to connect with Dr. Alkhaddo, then download the app if prompted. From there you can message directly, share photos and documents, and manage your care securely.

  • Your initial video visit is where Dr. Alkhaddo reviews your history, discusses your goals, and creates your personalized plan. (this visit is billed to insurance or cash pay - no further visit might be needed though after the initial visit).

  • Most of your ongoing care happens through secure messaging on Spruce — no need to schedule a visit for routine questions or adjustments

  • If a medication is appropriate, we'll prescribe it and submit your insurance prior authorization for you

  • If insurance denies coverage, we'll discuss affordable manufacturer cash-pay options so cost doesn't stop your care

  • Your membership covers your ongoing medical management; visits and medications are billed separately

  • Additional video visits are scheduled only when clinically needed

  • For anything urgent, message us through Spruce — but in an emergency, always call 911
